Project and Construction Management of CEIP in Alomartes (Granada) 2013

The building is conceived as a compact educational facility composed of two C-shaped volumes that separate nursery and primary education while maintaining a unified architectural identity.

Access is provided through a porch leading to a central lobby, illuminated both by the entrance and an internal courtyard. From this point, the differentiated circulation routes for nursery, primary education, administration, and the gymnasium are clearly organized.

The nursery wing is oriented to the south and directly connected to the outdoor classrooms and play area, fostering an immediate relationship with the open space.

The primary education wing is developed over two levels: the ground floor concentrates shared functions and flexible classrooms, while the first floor accommodates multipurpose classrooms and sanitary facilities.

The construction is resolved through white, horizontal, and precise volumes, perforated by glazed bands that introduce natural light and establish visual connections with the landscaped surroundings.

The gymnasium is integrated into the complex as an attached volume, positioned alongside the sports court and exterior areas, reinforcing a functional, clear, and efficient spatial organization.
