The project is set out through an aggregation of low-rise horizontal volumes that are fragmented and adapted to the scale of the surroundings, avoiding an excessive massing. This strategy creates a gradual transition between the urban space and the building, relying on courtyards and voids that incorporate vegetation and blur the boundary between the built and the natural.
Circulation is organised through a clear spatial sequence, where intermediate spaces—courtyards and transition areas—act as structuring elements. Access unfolds gradually towards a central space, from which perimeter circulation routes are distributed, always visually connected to the exterior, facilitating orientation and enhancing the user experience.
Natural light is conceived as the primary design resource, through the combination of large glazed surfaces, internal courtyards and linear skylights. The incorporation of vertical timber screens allows solar radiation to be controlled, producing a soft, filtered and homogeneous light that enhances the interior spaces and introduces atmospheric variation throughout the day.
From a constructive standpoint, the building is resolved through a coherent system based on the combination of exposed concrete, timber and glass. Concrete provides an institutional character and material continuity; timber introduces warmth and a human scale; and glass enhances transparency and the relationship between interior and exterior. All of this is developed under a modular system that rationalises construction and reinforces the unity of the whole.
Overall, the project achieves a balance between institutional representativeness and user proximity, through a sober and precise architecture in which light, circulation and materiality are integrated to create a continuous, legible spatial experience adapted to its context.
