The aim of this project was the refurbishment and extension of the healthcare facility known as “La Bola Azul” in Almería.
The ground floor accommodates admission areas, outpatient clinics for patients with reduced mobility, radiology and rehabilitation units. It also includes internal connections with the rest of the building, as well as a dedicated access for ambulances and vehicles in general. On the first floor, the left wing—previously unused—is refurbished and converted into a new outpatient area. The upper levels are only affected by minor refurbishment works required to adapt evacuation routes to the new emergency staircases.
