Hotel ***** El Faro de Adra
El Faro de Adra Hotel project is conceived as a high-end hotel complex organised around a main tower with a stepped geometry and a fully glazed envelope. The volume rises as a vertical landmark on the coastal front, adopting a dynamic morphology defined by shifted floor slabs that create generous perimeter terraces and a fragmented silhouette with strong volumetric richness. The tower rests on a terraced podium that adapts the complex to the existing topography and provides a harmonious transition between the built space and the surrounding natural terrain.
The project incorporates landscaped areas, water features and seating spaces as key elements structuring the outdoor environment, creating an orderly landscape that enhances views towards the lighthouse and the coastal setting. The ground floor integrates generous access points, pedestrian routes resolved through gentle-slope ramps, and a coherent urban design that organises internal circulation throughout the complex.
The combination of glazed surfaces, opaque planes and horizontal bands lends the building a contemporary character, reinforcing its role as an architectural landmark along the urban edge. The project proposes a unified intervention in which geometry, topographical integration and landscape design come together to define a hotel with a distinctly iconic presence.
