José Ángel Ferrer and the rest of the professors of the Project Workshop subject from the architecture school of the Nebrija University of Madrid visited the site that is the subject of work for the 2013-2014 course. In this case, it is a territory located on the highest mountain in the Sierra de Guadarrama.
The PYTHAGORAS building has been featured on the cover of NAN magazine (No. 80, March 2013). The prestigious Architecture and Construction magazine, which annually awards the NAN Architecture Prizes, dedicates 5 interior pages to the PYTHAGORAS building and the FERRER ARQUITECTOS studio, with special emphasis on the building’s sustainable values based on energy saving and the use of natural light.
A jury chaired by Jordi Ludevid i Anglada, president of the CSCAE, and 15 other experts with proven and recognized experience in various specialties of architecture and design, make up a select group of architects who will decide the winners in this sixth edition at a gala to be held on November 13 in Madrid.
Ferrer Arquitectos, in collaboration with Bronce Arquitectónico (www.broncearquitectonico.es), has designed several bronze sculptural pieces for the headquarters of PITA. The pieces are located inside the auditorium and in the access gallery.
