The building creates a covered space open to the public realm, functioning as a transitional threshold between exterior and interior, similar to a traditional zagu\u00e1n. From this space, visitors can access the main facility building, the caf\u00e9, or reach the lookout terrace overlooking the cave esplanade, either via a lift or a broad staircase conceived as a ceremonial stairway. This space forms the core of the building\u2014a social area sheltered from the summer sun and the winter rain. The placement of the caf\u00e9 allows for independent access and private concession with autonomous operating hours. It may also use part of the threshold space as an outdoor terrace, contributing to the activation and vibrancy of this area. <\/p>\n
Upon entering the building itself, visitors encounter a spacious lobby housing the administrative area, which includes an information and reception desk, an administration office, a meeting room and the director\u2019s office. This lobby also provides access to the multipurpose hall, which is connected to the stage area, the dressing rooms and the storage room for stage equipment. <\/p>\n
On the upper floor are the various classrooms and the library, which includes a dedicated area for bibliographic, phonographic and audiovisual collections.<\/p>\n
The building is organised according to a highly efficient functional layout: running longitudinally, a services strip (housing installations, restrooms and lifts), a circulation strip, and the widest strip containing the primary served spaces in direct contact with the
